Antonio Margarito to Manny Pacquiao: 'Say No To Steroids'

On Nov. 13 at the Dallas Cowboys' Stadium, WBO welterweight (147 pounds) king Manny Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 knockouts) will pursue his eighth title in as many different weight classes against former world champion Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 KOs) in an HBO pay per view televised, Top Rank Promotions clash for the WBC's junior middleweight (154 pounds) belt.

On the under card, lightweight (135 pounds) Brandon Rios (25-0-1, 18 KOs) takes on Omri Lowther (14-2, 10 KOs). Margarito and Rios are trained, side-by-side, at the Boxing Academy of their trainer,Robert Garcia, in Oxnard, Calif., where a sign is posted above a photo of Pacquiao, and his trainer, Freddie Roach, that reads "Say No To Steroids."

The reference is an obvious counter to the assertions of Pacquiao and Roach that Margarito knowingly has loaded his gloves with a plaster-like substance in the past, even as he has denied it and blamed his former trainer, Javier Capetillo, for transgressions which led to his being banned from boxing for more than a year.
